Obituary

William Redmond, known to many as "Joe" went home to his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, in the evening hours of Tuesday, February 18, 2020 after a tragic accident. He was 51 years old. Joe was born in Milwaukee on August 19, 1968, son of William J. Redmond Jr. and Susan Fricke Redmond. He grew up in Cedarburg/Grafton area, and attended Grafton High School. After high school, Joe got his associates degree from MATC in Tool and Die. He had been a Tool & Die Maker for KMC Stamping in Port Washington for over 17 years. On August 28, 1999 he married Anne Wheeler at Covered Bridge Park in Cedarburg. The couple settled in Fredonia to raise their family. Joe was man of Faith and could often be seen reading his Bible during his breaks at work. He celebrated that faith as a member of Calvary Church in West Bend, where he helped with Music Ministry, the Royal Rangers, the Men's Ministry, and played and coached on the church's softball team for many years. He enjoyed snowmobiling and was the Secretary for the Schnee Katzen Snowmobile Club in Fredonia, was formerly involved with Fredonia Little League, and was a drummer for many local area bands. One of Joe's biggest passions was as an assistant football coach with the Ozaukee Warrior Football Program at both the Middle School and High School levels. He had a very magnetic personality and loved socializing. You were never a stranger for very long around Joe. Joe is survived by his loving wife Anne of Fredonia, his three sons: Steven of Wausaukee, Lucas of Port Washington and David of Fredonia. He is further survived by his father Bill (Beth) Redmond of Pewaukee, Susan Redmond of Jackson, his sister Melissa (Jason) Galeener of Cedarburg, his nephew Brandon, his dog Beau, other relatives and many, many friends. Funeral services will be celebrated at Calvary Church, 1110 E. Decorah Rd., West Bend on Tuesday, February 25th with visitation from 3-6 PM followed by a service at 6 PM. Pastor Jerry Michaelson will preside over the service. In lieu of flowers, memorials suggested to the Warrior Gridiron Club, 401 Highland Dr. Fredonia, WI 53021. The Eernisse Funeral Home, Port Washington is honored to serve the family. Online condolences may be left at www.eernissefuneralhome.com
