IN LOVING MEMORY OF
William M.
Nicoud
March 1, 1959 – June 22, 2024
William "Bill" M. Nicoud, 65, of Port Washington, passed away June 22, 2024, at his residence surrounded by his loved ones. He was born March 1, 1959, in Fond du Lac, Wisconsin to the late Alfred and Janet (Wilson) Nicoud.
On August 6, 1983, he was united in marriage to his high school sweetheart, Pamela Grossmeyer, at Saint Sebastian's Parish, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. They spent over 40 joyous years together. In 1987 they welcomed their son Alex. Alex and his dad spent endless time together with the Boy Scouts of America, camping, hiking and building rockets.
Bill was an artist, painting countless automobiles over the years at several local auto body restoration shops. During that time, with the help of several mentors, he developed a talent for pinstriping. He was a proud member of the Pinstripe Legends, who sold and donated funds to Children's Hospital as a result of many fun Monday nights at Berry's Sign Shop. When he retired, he started Bill's Custom Pinstriping and Paint, where he was able to work on special cars owned by friends and family.
Bill and Pam joined the Badger Bimmers, the WI chapter of the BMW Club of America before they were married. There they met lifelong friends. Shortly after they were married Bill began training in the martial arts with the Kempo Goju Karate System. This family helped him build his strength of body and mind and real determination to accomplish anything he set to mind. Later in life, Bill developed an interest in running, biking and swimming with the Be3 (Be there, Be Strong, Be Fearless) an active community that supports each member at their level of ability as well as donating resources to many Port Washington area charities.
In 2019, Bill's brother Jim lovingly donated a kidney to Bill. It provided several more active years, before his immunocompromised body couldn't fight off a rare infection he caught while preparing for his final triathlon.
He is survived by his wife Pam, his son Alex Nicoud, his granddaughter, Rowan Mae Brouch, his siblings Jonathan, Daniel (Margaret) and James (Susan) Nicoud, his sister-in-law Judi Nicoud, along with many other nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
He was preceded in death by his brother Thomas.
A celebration of life will take place at Eernisse Funeral Home, 1167 Washington Ave, Cedarburg on Saturday, July 13, 2024, at 2:30 PM. The family will greet friends and relatives at the FUNERAL HOME from 1:00 PM until the time of service and again from 4 - 6.
The family would like to thank Liz Syah Fisher, who cared for Bill and supported Pam through the final year of his life. They'd also like to thank the staff at Horizon Hospice for all their care and support over the last year, a big thank you to Christina, Lisa and Latia for going above and beyond.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Bill's name may be made to the Be3 Organization, in Port Washington.
