Obituary

WILLIAM N. GREIVELDINGER William Bill Greiveldinger of Hwy. B in the Town of Port Washington died Wednesday evening April 26 2006 at Heritage Nursing Home in Port Washington. He was 86 years old. Bill was born September 3 1919 in the Town of Port Washington son of William and Henrietta Ries Greiveldinger. On May 12 1945 he married Jean Duffy at St. Stanislaus Catholic Church in Milwaukee. Bill farmed in the Town of Port Washington for many years and together with his wife Jean built owned and operated Bill Jean's Tavern on Hwy. KK in the Town of Port Washington for three years. He was a member of St. Peter of Alcantara Catholic Church in Port Washington a former member of the Town of Port Washington Board of Supervisors serving as chairman and treasurer and a former member of the Farm Bureau. He enjoyed sheepshead and local politics especially the lively debating sessions at the former feed mill in Knellsville. Survivors include his wife Jean their four children: William of the Town of Belgium Donald (Donna) and Richard both of Port Washington and Jacqualine (Larry) Koehler of the Town of Port. He is further survived by 7 grandchildren 10 great-grandchildren 3 sisters: Sr. Elvira Greiveldinger SSND of Wauwatosa Rosemary (Julius) Waldkrich of Fredonia and Georgine (John) Gebo of Chicago IL 1 sister-in law Bernice Greiveldinger of Racine nieces nephews other relatives and friends. He is preceded in death by 1 brother Harold and 1 sister Marie Federspiel. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday May 1st 11:30 AM from the Funeral Home going to St. Peter's Catholic Church for Mass at 12 noon. Father Patrick Wendt will officiate. Burial will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery Port Washington. The family will receive visitors at the Eernisse Funeral Home 1600 W.
