William "Bill" Eernisse, age 70 years of Grafton died Saturday evening, March 7, 2020 at Froedtert West Bend Hospital. He was born September 21, 1949 in Port Washington, son of the late Robert and Marvelle Hilgart Eernisse. Bill attended St. Joseph Parish school, was a 1967 graduate of Grafton High School and a 1971 graduate of Lakeland College where he played football. On September 11, 1971, Bill married Nadine Shine at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Grafton. He retired as regional sales manager for Rotary Lift Company in 2015. Bill was a member of Pilgrim United Church of Christ in Grafton and during his sales career, served on the board of directors for the Equipment Tool Institute. He was board president from 2005-2006 and chaired various committees during his years of service. Bill was a former member of Grafton Fire Department, had also coached Little League baseball in Grafton, and coached basketball while living in Maryland. Survivors include his wife Nadine, daughter Maggie Fouliard, son Daniel (Elizabeth) Eernisse, 3 grandchildren Connor Sobczak, Nora Eernisse, and Morgan Eernisse, 2 brothers Bruce "Virgil" Eernisse and Brian (Rebeckah) Eernisse, 4 sisters Lynn Mary Holzer, Laurie (David) Schwalbe, Lee Anne (David) Wilde and Lisa (the late Randy) Mueller, aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and 3 brothers. Funeral Sunday, March 15, 4 PM at Pilgrim United Church of Christ, 1621 2nd Avenue, Grafton. Visitation at the CHURCH Sunday from 2-4 PM.
