IN LOVING MEMORY OF
William J.
Cudahy
May 12, 1953 – June 1, 2024
William John "Bill" Cudahy, entered into rest on Saturday, June 1, 2024. He was 71 years old.
Bill was born May 12, 1953, to the late James and Veronica (Bintzler) Cudahy. He was a lifelong resident of Grafton and attended Grafton Schools. He worked at Kelch Corp. for many years along with Federal Tool of Cedarburg for 20 years until his retirement.
In his younger years he played softball for Grafton Bowl and TJ's, with a 14-0 record in one year. He was also a girls softball coach. One of his greatest prides was playing pool. He won hundreds of trophies with his best season having won 70 tournaments with only 8 losses. He was a dedicated hunter and a true mentor to many in the art of bow hunting, a skill he cherished. Being a mentor to Travis Borchard was something he took great pride in. He found solace in the tranquility of fishing trips with his companions, coupled with the simple pleasures of enjoying a cold beer.
Taking many trips to Coal Dock Park in Port Washington with his sister Annie was one of his greatest joys. Always saying "She is my buddy".
Bill is survived by his siblings Anna L. Cudahy of Port Washington, Jane (Jim) Scherer of West Bend, and Thomas (Sandra) Cudahy of Monico, WI. Loving nieces and nephews; Mike Cudahy, Lori (Rob) Baars, Jason (Amanda) Cudahy, Angie (Cory) Scherer, Josh Cudahy, Jim Scherer along with five great nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents, his brother James D. Cudahy and Ginny, sister Vickie Cudahy and his nephew Joel Cudahy.
A celebration of life will be held on Wednesday, June 12, 2024, at The Bridge Inn, 1216 Bridge Street, Grafton, from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM.
The family would like to thank the wonderful nurses and staff at Aurora Grafton and Kathy Hospice, for their compassion and support during these difficult times.
Remember Me
Remember me when turkeys fan
early in the Spring
Remember me on sunny days
and the joy that fishing brings
Remember me in the Fall
as you hunt through leaves of Gold
in the wintertime remember me
In the stories that are told
But most of all --- remember
each day, right from the start
I will be forever near
For I lie within your heart
