Obituary

William "Will" Bush, of Lannon and formerly of Milwaukee, joyfully entered the embrace of his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, in the early morning hours of Thursday, December 24, 2025, at the age of 39. After bravely facing cancer with unwavering faith and grace, Will's journey continues in eternal peace and glory.

Born in Plainfield, New Jersey, to Ronald and Leona (Franks) Bush, Will's life was a radiant tapestry of creativity, kindness, and devotion. When the Bush family settled in Milwaukee, young Will quickly made his mark through his bright spirit and love of the arts. He graduated from Whitefish Bay Dominican High School with the Class of 2004 and went on to study at the Milwaukee Institute of Art & Design, and then Milwaukee Area Technical College, where his boundless imagination truly began to shine.

Music was the heartbeat of Will's life. Raised in a family where melodies flowed freely, he first picked up the guitar and later mastered the keyboard—each note a reflection of his soul. Alongside his younger brother Kevin, Will co-founded the beloved band "Immortal Girlfriend", a project that resonated deeply with the Milwaukee music community. In 2018, their passion and artistry were recognized when Immortal Girlfriend was named Band of the Year at the 11th Annual Radio Milwaukee Music Awards. One of Will's greatest joys came when the band collaborated with professional wrestlers for their music video "Calling," blending two of his lifelong loves—music and wrestling—into one unforgettable moment.

A man of deep and enduring faith, Will was an active member of New Life Church in Grafton. His relationship with God was the foundation of his life, and his joyful spirit reflected the peace and light that come from a heart anchored in faith. Will carried that light wherever he went, inspiring others through his music, laughter, and steadfast belief in all that is good. Will had a quiet generosity with all that he had; with either his time or talent, he gave to all that were in need.

Will is survived by his parents Ronald and Leona Bush, and his siblings: Steven, Regina (Tim) Kowalski, Kevin, Gabriella and Samara. He is further survived by his paternal grandmother Iola Bush, other relatives and many friends.

He is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents Theodore and Leona Mae Franks and his paternal grandfather James Bush.

A celebration of Will's life will take place on Saturday, January 10, 2025, at 1 PM at New Life Church, 1402 7th Ave. Grafton.
