Obituary

William A. Lorence Bill Mr. Bill Lorence of East Grand Avenue in Port Washington passed away unexpectedly at his home early Friday morning November 2 2012. He was 56 years old. William was born in Milwaukee on September 16 1956 son of Ervin and Joyce Tylicki Lorence. He grew up in Cedarburg graduating from Cedarburg High School with the Class of 1974. Bill lived in Saukville Newburg and Grafton before settling in Port Washington in 2003. Mr. Lorence was a machinist with Lorence Mfg. in Newburg for 30 years; most recently he was a local handyman. Bill was heavily involved in music and area theatre: he acted in dinner theatre Music Director and occasional bartender at Memories Ballroom and was also a member of the Cedarburg Players. He was well known in local karaoke circles (sometimes as Cool of the duet group Cool Awesome). Mr. Lorence was also a former Choir Director at Living Hope Church in Saukville. Bill also enjoyed golf camping and deer hunting. He was a very social man and will be missed by many friends who saw him around town. He is survived by his three children: Nicholas (Cherie) Wolfgram of Grafton Sara (Matthew) Rodock of Madison and Ryan Lorence of Port Washington. He is the proud Opa of Gwendolyn Jonathan and Nathaniel Wolfgram. Bill is further survived by 2 sisters: Kathleen (Stephen) Christenson of Amery and Cynthia (Stuart) Hoeft of Green Bay 2 aunts: Ginny (Bruce) Walters of Oconomowoc and Ellie Lorence of Cedarburg former wife Amy Lorence his beloved dog Bailey cousins nieces nephews other relatives and many dear friends. He is preceded in death by his parents. Funeral Services will be held at 2PM on Monday November 5 at the Eernisse Funeral Home (1600 W. Grand Ave Port Washington). Rev. Marilyn Borchard will officiate. He will be laid to rest beside his parents in St. Paul Lutheran Cemetery Random Lake. The family will receive visitors at the Funeral Home Monday from 11AM - 2 PM.
