Longtime Thiensville resident Wendell Pierner was Born to Eternal Life on Thursday December 28, 2023, at the age of 85. He was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin on October 28, 1938, the son of the late Sylvan and Anita (Stahl) Pierner. He was united in marriage to Janet Bachmann on June 14, 1970, at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Brown Deer.

Survivors include his loving children Ann (Mark) Spivey and Scott (Shawn-Anne) Pierner; cherished grandchildren Kyle, Keelin, Jonah, Desirée, Makayla, and Ashton, his niece Roberta Pierner, along with other relatives and friends.

Funeral service 1:00 PM on Friday, January 5, 2023, at Beautiful Savior Lutheran Church 11313 Riverland Rd, Mequon, WI. Pastor Phillip Hillenbrand officiating. Private inurnment at Beautiful Savior Cemetery. The family will greet friends and relatives from 11:00 AM until the time of service at the CHURCH.

Wendell was an avid outdoors man, enjoying fishing and deer hunting. In his younger years he was a part of the Thiensville Fire Department. After retirement from Tri-State Flooring, he enjoyed being a bus driver for the Mequon-Thiensville School District. He took pride in his home and yard work. His greatest pride was creating special memories with his grandchildren.
