Walter E. Huebner "Wally" passed away on August 23, 2016 at the age of 64. Walter was born on October 3, 1951 to Herbert and Verna (nee Frenzel) Huebner. Wally enjoyed music and traveling. He had an adventurous spirit and loved new challenges. Wally had a passion for animals, especially dogs and was the type of man who would give you the shirt off his back. He treasured his friendships. Above all, he was a dedicated and loving father and also adored his granddaughters, often volunteering for school events. Wally is survived by his daughter Tasha (Christopher) Janssen, siblings; Debbie Meeker, Sheryl, Herbie, Russ (Peggy) and David (Kim) Huebner, grandchildren Brianne and Kailey, mother-in-law Evelyn Guttmann (nee Lecher) and Uncle Orville. He is further survived by nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. Wally is preceded in death by his wife Christine (nee Guttmann) Huebner, father Herbert, mother Verna, father-in-law Robert Guttmann and brother Richard Huebner. A Funeral Service for Wally will be held on Friday, August 26, 2016 at 1:30 PM at the Eernisse Funeral Home 1167 Washington Ave. Cedarburg. Pastor Janis Kinens will officiate. A visitation will be held from 11:30 AM until the time of the service at 1:30 PM. Wally will be laid to rest at Zur Ruhe Cemetery immediately following the service.
