Obituary

Virginia B. Feiereisen, known to many as "Mickey", passed away early Monday morning, June 6, 2016 at Harbor Club in Port Washington. She was 97 years old. Virginia was born October 13, 1918 in Silver Creek, the daughter of Erhardt and Nelita (nee Kraetsch) Voeks. On November 5, 1938, Virginia was united in marriage with Oliver Feiereisen in Silver Creek. He preceded her in death in 1993. The couple operated local area taverns, including Old Fort Silver in Silver Creek, the Red Stone in Saukville and Ollie's Tavern in Port Washington, known today as the Grand Ave. Saloon. Virginia also worked as a nursing assistant at Rocky Knoll for many years. She enjoyed knitting, gardening, fishing and spending time with her grandkids and telling many jokes and stories. She touched many lives over her 97 years. Everyone who knew Virginia loved her. Virginia is survived by her daughter Dolly (Donald) Burton of Sheboygan and 6 grandchildren: Renee (Kevin Siemers) Depies of Sheboygan Falls, James (Juli) Noll of Libertyville, IL, Carla (Grant) Smith of Port Washington, Ronald (Tracy) Noll of Oostburg, Rick (Terri) Noll of Port Washington and Mark (Angel) Noll of Belgium. She is further survived by 19 great-grandchildren, her brother Donald (Carol) Voeks of Silver Creek, other relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her brothers Wallace, Merlin, Orville, Robert and her twin brother Vernon "Boyce". In accordance to Mickey's wishes, private funeral services will be held. She will be laid to rest at Ledgeview Memorial Park - Shrine of Rest Mausoleum in Fond du Lac. The Eernisse Funeral Home, Port Washington is honored to serve the family.
