VERNA M. CRAMER Mrs. Verna Cramer, formerly of the Town of Sherman, passed away Saturday, January 30, 2016 at Beechwood Rest Home in Beechwood, where she had resided for the past 11 years. She was 101 years young. Verna was born in Milwaukee on September 6, 1914, daughter of Henry and Rose Hedke Drydyk. She was united in marriage with Lawrence Cramer on June 20, 1936 in Pewaukee. The couple started their family and later moved to a farm on the outskirts of Random Lake in the Town of Sherman. Mr. Cramer preceded her in death in 1993. Verna was a long time member of Our Lady of the Lakes parish, St. Mary's Chapel in Random Lake. She was a soft-spoken lady who was kind to everyone and always thought of others before herself. Verna loved spending time with her grandchildren, and made many memories with them coloring, reading and playing. She enjoyed gardening and having her family around her for holiday gatherings. Mrs. Cramer is survived by her daughters Kathleen (the late Richard) Shinevar of Port Washington and Clarice (Brian) Rusch of Adell, daughter-in-law Sue (the late Noel) Cramer of Random Lake and son-in-law Wayne (the late Mary Lou) Ustby of Adell, seven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. She is further survived by her sister Elaine Savatski of Brookfield, numerous nieces and nephews, other family and friends. She is preceded in death by her husband Lawrence, son Noel, daughter Mary Lou and 11 brothers and sisters. Funeral Services will be held at 1:30 PM on Sunday, February 7th at the Eernisse Funeral Home in Belgium (171 N. Royal Ave.). Deb Hamm will lead the service. Verna will be laid to rest the following day beside her husband at St. Mary's Cemetery in Random Lake.
