VERA J. CLAUSING Mrs. Vera Clausing of Milwaukee Street in Port Washington passed away at her home surrounded by her family on Thursday evening April 27 2006. She was 86 years old. Vera was born on April 1 1920 in the Town of Belgium daughter of Nic E. and Janette Wiltzins Tholl. On November 21 1940 she was united in marriage with Howard W. Clausing at St. Mary Catholic Church in Lake Church. Vera worked in the nursery at St. Alphonsus Hospital for almost 19 years before becoming a Respiratory Therapist. Vera was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Port Washington and enjoyed bowling golf oil painting and gardening. She also liked to spend time doing stained glass work knitting crocheting and lunching with friends. Her grandchildren were a very important part of her life and she spent much time with them and with the rest of her family. She is survived by her husband Howard W. of Port Washington their four children: Daniel (LeAra) Clausing of Addy WA Howard F. (Alice) Clausing of Menomonie Randall (Wilma) Clausing of Sheboygan and Jean (Bruce) Stromme of Port Washington. She is further survived by 9 grandchildren 5 step-grandchildren 3 great-grandchildren 1 brothers-in-law Bill Baumann of Austin MN 2 sisters-in-law: Harriet Tholl of Belgium and Joan Tholl of Port Washington nieces nephews other relatives and friends. Funeral Services will be held on Monday May 1 at 7PM at the Eernisse Funeral Home 1600 W. Grand Ave. Port Washington. Rev. Dennis O'Brien will officiate.
