Mrs. Ursula Crager of Port Washington passed away at Kathy Hospice in West Bend on Wednesday, February 16, 2022. She was 76 years old.
Ursula was born in Germany and immigrated to Wisconsin with her parents at age 6. The family settled in Milwaukee and Ursula attended local schools. She met James Crager while attending high school and the couple married in 1967. They were blessed with two children, James and Kelly. Ursula moved to Saukville and later to Port Washington where she resided at Maple Crest Apartments for over 20 years.
Mrs. Crager worked at Hardees in Mequon for several years; she enjoyed listening to music, crafts, knitting, and watching the Olympics. Ursula deeply loved her grandson, Tommy, and enjoyed the time she got to spend with him over the years. She also adored her cats.
She is survived by her daughter Kelly (Thomas) Schroeder of Belgium and grandson Tommy Schroeder, also of Belgium. She is preceded in death by her son James K. Crager, and parents Anne and Hans Marbs.
A family service will be held later this year when Ursula is laid to rest beside her son James in Highland Memorial Park, New Berlin.
If desired, memorials may be made in Ursula's name to the Wisconsin Humane Society.
