Troy Stuart, of Waubeka, took his life on Sunday, April 7, 2024. Troy had an interest in reading obituaries and learning how other people lived. Troy started writing his own obituary in 2016:

Hello world if you're reading this- I'm dead!

Please don't feel sorry or sad, I've had a good life, I'm writing this obit myself because being a connoisseur of well written obits, I figured I'd do this myself, plus it takes pressure off of someone else having to script it, and I'm all for making life easier for others. I had this quirk of reading obits daily since I was in my twenties. I always found them fascinating. I've read many obits written by the deceased person obviously written before they died, and since humor was a huge factor in my life, and I know how depressed people can get after someone dies, I thought I would express a few feelings while I'm still around to take the guesswork out of this after I die. Some of the best written obits were done by the deceased person! (sorry living people!)

Please don't be upset by the order in which things are mentioned here! I have fond memories of my childhood and couldn't have asked for a better upbringing. I really had fun growing up!!

I've tried contacting people in the afterlife with no success, namely my friend Rick who I had numerous discussions with about contact processes after either one of us died. We both came to the conclusion that radio frequency emission may actually be a viable method for communication from the afterlife. We agreed on a frequency and mode to monitor after one of us passed. As it turned out, Rick that went first. I monitored and called for him on our predetermined frequency, and so far, nothing!!

I also had a great love of Fender guitars; Leo Fender was a genius in my book and created some of the most awe-inspiring instruments. I had an ongoing fascination with Stratocasters, Telecasters, Jazzmasters, Jaguars, P-Basses and more. I could go on but each line costs more money!! ;)

Small and Big block Chevrolet engines were another passion of mine. Six Hundred cube monster engines and turbocharged 4.8 LS engines intrigued me both the same and working on this stuff kept me sane!!

Kawasaki motorcycles were near and dear to my heart, as well as the RZ350 Yamaha. RZ350 was my name on many internet chat boards, it was my favorite motorcycle.

Sorry to write so much about non-people related content, but Stratocasters and ZRX's are kind of what defined me, so I feel inclined to bring them up considering I can't use them anymore in their earthly confines!

Now onto other more pressing matters. I leave behind my loving wife Kathy Lubner, my daughter Alyssa and her husband Jake Bennett, and my dear grandchildren Luca and Orion. I further leave behind my father Thomas (Kathy Wergin) Stuart, my brother Todd Stuart, sister Debbie (Lou) Desimone, my brother-in-law Thomas (Kathleen) Lubner, niece Sarah (Jim) Blankenburg and her children Adalynn and Olivia, nephew Jon (Jaime) Lubner and their children Ellie, Jack and Harrison, and nephew Ben (Tiffany Hock) Lubner, many friends and my dogs Rory, Twyla, Gerty and Millie.

I am preceded in death by my mother Donna (Jim Coon) Stuart, and my in-laws Alfred and Arline Lubner.

My family will be planning a celebration of life in the future.
