Thomas R. Wenzel of Cedar Grove passed away peacefully at home with his family by his side on Saturday, September 16, 2017. He was 84. Thomas was born on January 15, 1933 to Raymond and Ruby Wenzel. He married Diane Monfre November 23, 1957 in Milwaukee and together they had three children.
Tom was often in his workshop making furniture that would later be donated to local charities. He was an avid sports fan and enjoyed watching NASCAR and the Green Bay Packers. He retired after 30 years of dedicated service from Chrysler Corporation in Milwaukee and Kenosha. Tom loved to spot birds from his swing on his front porch or from his rocking chair by the window with his four-legged buddies Bella and Flower by his side.
Thomas is survived by his wife of 59 years, Diane Wenzel, his sons Jeffery Wenzel, Paul (Cheryl) Wenzel and Daniel Wenzel; grandchildren, Sophia, Joy, Julie, Josh, Carolyn, Greg, Tim, Sarah, Steven and Eric; ten great-grandchildren. Thomas is further survived by other relatives and friends.

A Funeral Service will be held at 6:00PM on Thursday, September 21, 2017 at Eernisse Funeral Home (171 N. Royal Ave. Belgium, WI 53004) with Deacon Gerry Maleug presiding. A Visitation will be held at the FUNERAL HOME from 4:00PM until the time of service. Entombment will be at Wisconsin Memorial Park.
