Thomas Herman Petersen, 78, of Grafton passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, January 2, 2021. The son of Edward and Linna Petersen, born November 24, 1942 in Milwaukee. Tom married the love of his life Carol Lueth on August 12, 1967 and together they had three children.
Tom proudly served his country in the United States Army and Army Reserves. He was a steel worker and retired from Ryerson after 33 years of dedicated service. Tom spent his retirement fishing, playing card games (cribbage, poker, and sheepshead) and solving Sudoku puzzles. He was an avid football fan, enjoyed pitching horseshoes and LOVED ice cream. Above all, Tom was a caring and loving Husband, Father, Opa, and Brother. He will be forever missed and loved by his family.
Tom is survived by his devoted wife Carol, his children Tom (Rebecca) Petersen of Green Bay, Michelle (Brahm) Livingston of Mayville, and Jennifer (Rich) Lewis of Saukville; grandchildren, Danielle (Joseph) VanOss, Kirsten Petersen, Cody Lewis, Kaitlin Petersen, Tyler Lewis, and Mac Livingston; siblings, Karl Petersen, and Ellen (Randy) Liska. He is further survived by brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents Edward and Linna, and brothers Fred and Larry Petersen.
A celebration of Tom's life will be held on a later date. The family request that no flowers or plants be sent at this time.
