Thomas J. Ellefson Elfie Tom Ellefson of Port Washington passed away unexpectedly Monday morning April 14 2014 at Aurora Medical Center in Grafton. He was 65 years old. Tom was born April 9 1949 in Thief River Falls MN the son of Edwin and Marguerite Cox Ellefson. Tom grew up in Middle River MN before moving to Wisconsin in 1972. On April 11 1992 he was united in marriage with Eileen Walker in Grafton. For 35 years Tom worked at Ataco Steel in Cedarburg as a robotics welder. Tom was an avid Vikings fan who enjoyed gardening and deer hunting in WI and MN. He loved listening to music and had a collection of over 50000 songs. Tom is survived by his wife Eileen of Port Washington and his step-daughter Jeanette Johnson of Milwaukee. He is further survived by 5 grandchildren 2 great-grandchildren brothers Ed (Betty) Ellefson of Saukville and Gordon (Shirley) Ellefson of Argyle MN sisters Julia Haugtvedt of Warren MN and Barbara Beaudry of Badger MN his best friend Dan Buser of Port Washington his beloved dog Monty nieces nephews cousins other relatives and many friends. He is preceded in death by his parents and his nephew Jay Ellefson. A Memorial Service will be held at 5PM on Thursday April 24 2014 at Eernisse Funeral Home 1167 Washington Ave. Cedarburg. Pastor Brandon Lemons will officiate. The family will receive visitors at the funeral home on Thursday from 2-5PM. In lieu of flowers memorials are suggested.
