Thomas D. Hollrith Tom Hollrith age 46 years of Weatherford TX formerly of Port Washington WI was accidently killed while riding his bicycle in Weatherford TX on the evening of July 24. Tom recently had began bicycling and was preparing to enter a large road ride in TX at the time of the accident. Tom was born in Port Washington WI on October 21 1961 son of George and Ann (Orsquo;Connor) Hollrith. Tom grew up in Grafton graduating from Grafton High School in 1980. He continued his education at University of Wisconsin Eau Claire graduating with Bachelor of Science degree. Tom was extremely dedicated to the martial arts specializing as a black belt in Tae Kwon Do Aikido and Judo. He spent many years teaching self-defense courses at his school Il Yo Tae Kwon Do in Port Washington. Tom also owned and operated Rainbow Restoration and Cleaning in the Ozaukee County area. For the past five years he operated Cornerstone Cleaning and Restoration in the Dallas- Fort Worth area with his business partner Dennis Ledford. He is survived by his parents George and Ann Hollrith of Grafton WI siblings Scott Hollrith of Grafton WI Will (Kristine) Hollrith of Grafton WI and Ann (Richard) Volesky of Port Washington WI. He is further survived by his nieces and nephews; Jenni Mary Emily Joseph Ashley and Keegan Hollrith and Stephanie and Sarah Volesky his step-family Lisa Terry Jo and Tonya Strey and their children other relatives and many friends in both Wisconsin and Texas. He is preceded in death by his sister Mary Hollrith and his niece Chelsea Hollrith. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated on Friday August 1 2008 at 6 PM at St. Joseph Catholic Church 1619 Washington St. Grafton with Father Steven Lampe officiating. He will be laid to rest at St. Joseph Parish Cemetery. Visitation will take place at the Church on Friday August 1st from 4-6 PM. The Eernisse Funeral Home Port Washington is assisting the family.
