Thomas "Big Tom", B. Atkielski, age 84, passed away on Monday, July 24, 2017 at the Harbor Club in Port Washington. He was born on February 26, 1933 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin to Vincent and Rose (nee Szafranski) Atkielski. Big Tom was united in marriage to Kathleen (nee Kebbekus) in Bedford, Indiana on February 1, 1969.
Big Tom enjoyed working on and repairing cars, boating with his wife Kathy and had a special place in his heart for his cats and dogs. He was a talented man who was a master carpenter. He owned and operated T.B Atkielski and Associates General Contracting since the 1960's.
Big Tom is survived by his loving wife Kathy, children: Tom (Diane) of Manitowoc, Robert (Dee) of Ramer Tennessee, Michael (Adalaide) of Elkhorn, James (Lynn) of Tullahoma Tennessee, 6 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren, nephew Mark (Carrie), sisters: Dianna Kogelman, Judy Haarala and step-brother Eddie (Kathy) Ledger. He is further survived by other relatives and friends. Big Tom was preceded in death by his siblings: Ervin, James, Lucille, Ronald, Barb and Monica.
Per Big Tom's wishes, no formal service will be held.
