Theresa A. Stammer Mrs. Theresa Stammer formerly of the Appleton area was relieved from pain after a 2 year battle with breast cancer on Friday February 20 2015 at her Saukville home. She was 45 years old. Theresa was born June 4 1969 in Menomonee Falls the daughter of Gary and Kathleen (nee Flath) Wichtel. On September 22 1989 she was united in marriage with her high school sweetheart Kurt Stammer in Appleton. For the last 15+ years Theresa worked as a Practice Manager at Pain Management and Treatment Center in Milwaukee. She was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Parish in Saukville. Theresa enjoyed gardening reading fishing going up north and spending time at Boundary Lake. Theresa is survived by her husband Kurt and their two children: Chris (Hannah) of Sturgeon Bay and Alex of Green Bay. She is further survived by her parents Gary and Kathleen Wichtel of Appleton her father and mother-in-law Lenard and Marge Stammer of Menasha brother-in-law Jason (Lindsay) Stammer niece Jaden nephews: Jonah and Brady other relatives and many friends. She is preceded in death by her son Gage and brother Michael Wichtel. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 6PM on Thursday February 26 2015 at Immaculate Conception 145 W. Church St. in Saukville. Father Thomas Lijewski will preside. The family will receive visitors at the church on Thursday from 4-6PM. Theresa will be laid to rest at St. Mary's Cemetery in Saukville. In lieu of flowers memorials are suggested to Stillwaters Cancer Support Services (www.stillwaterscenter.org).
