Theresa A. Gillich

Theresa Gillich entered Eternal Life on Sunday, June 21, 2026, at the age of 86.

Theresa was born on September 9, 1939, in Elizabeth, New Jersey, the daughter of Paul and Eva (née Durner) Gillich. She graduated from West Division High School in Milwaukee in 1959 and went on to attend Milwaukee Technical College, where she earned her degree in Practical Nursing.

Theresa dedicated 34 years of her life to caring for others as a licensed practical nurse. Following her nursing career, she continued serving those in need as home health aide until her retirement. Caring for others was more than her profession, it was simply who she was.

Theresa genuinely enjoyed the company of. She was an active participant at the local senior center, where she sang in the chorus, enjoyed day trips, and played bocce ball. A faithful member of St. John XXIII Parish since 1966, Theresa cherished her and found great joy in participating in parish activities.

She is survived by brother Paul Gillich, her niece Sara Gillich, and her friend Bruce Eckert.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Theresa will be laid to rest at Pinelawn Memorial Park.
