Sylvia Mae (nee Arndt) Yoho of Random Lake, WI passed away on Saturday, June 7, 2025 at the age of 96. She was born in Fredonia, WI the beloved daughter of Marvin and Eleanor (nee Knuth) Arndt on July 17, 1928. Sylvia married Dean Yoho on April 3, 1948, in Batavia at Zion United Methodist Church. The couple raised 9 children together.

Sylvia grew up on the family farm and went to Hillside Grade School and graduated from Random Lake High School in 1946. She and Dean moved to Belgium where they operated the Belgium Trucking Company and How-Dea Service Center. Dean passed away in July 1973.

In October 1988 Sylvia married Claytus Ziehr and they enjoyed living on Kettle Moraine Lake and wintering in Arizonia.

Sylvia's memory will be cherished by her children Lynn (Steve) Brown, Shirley (Tom) Dekker, Virgina Witte, Ken (Jane) Yoho, Bob Yoho, Steve Yoho, Neal (Gayle) Yoho, Sara Yoho and Kristine Neuenfeld; 18 grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren and 8 great-great-grandchildren; sister-in-law Judy Arndt.

She was preceded in death by her husband's Dean and Claytus; granddaughter Martana Zeman; sons-in-law Erv Witte and Mark Neuenfeld; siblings, Armin (Janet) Arndt, Robert (Katy) Arndt, Howard (Margaret) Arndt, Martin (Kathy) Arndt, Danny Arndt, Geraine (Elwood) Eisentrout, and Letha (Robert) LeClaire.

A Funeral Service will be held at 6:00pm on Monday, June 16, 2025 at Zion United Methodist Church, N1667 Hwy 28, Adell, WI 53003. The family will receive visitors at the church from 3:00-6:00PM. Sylvia will be laid to rest next to her husband Dean in a private ceremony at Zion Methodist Cemetery, Batavia.
