Sylvia G. Pungartnik nbsp; nbsp;Sylvia Pungartnik of Chestnut Street in Port Washington passed away Sunday afternoon February 8 2009 at Heritage Nursing Home in Port Washington where she had been residing for the last two months.nbsp; She was 76 years old.nbsp; Sylvia was born in Port Washington on March 11 1932 daughter of John and Johanna Pviak Pungartnik.nbsp; She was a graduate of Port Washington High School and had been a life long member of St. Maryrsquo;s Catholic Church in Port Washington.nbsp; She was also a member of SLOGA Organization.nbsp; Known by many in the community Sylvia was a fixture of Chestnut Street.nbsp; She was very proud of the recent remodeling she had had completed on her home.
