SYLVIA A. SCHMIDT Mrs. Sylvia Schmidt of Cedarburg passed away Sunday evening Nov. 13 2011 at Horizon Hospice in Mequon at the age of 82. Sylvia was born April 1 1929 in Milwaukee to Arthur and Mary Gengler. On August 30 1958 she was united in marriage with Harvey Schmidt in Milwaukee. Sylvia was a member of David's Star Ev. Lutheran Church in Jackson. She enjoyed bowling sewing knitting spending time with her friends from the card club and being with her loved ones. Beloved wife of the late Harvey loving mother of Floyd (Barb) Richard Patrice (the late James) MacDonald (Michael Wormsbacher) and Kevin Schmidt. Proud grandmother of Paul (Crystal) Jon Jason and Sherry Schmidt Stephanie (Mike) Hood Elliot and Quentin MacDonald and great grandmother of Brady Amelia Gavin and Rhyan. Further survived by siblings Robert (Rosemary) Gengler Dolores (Kenneth) Skidmore and Judith Gengler and many brothers and sisters-in-law. She is preceded in death by siblings Carol Blohm Lorraine Gscheidmeier and Ann Bovee Funeral service will be held on Mon. Nov. 21 6PM at Eernisse Funeral Home 1167 Washington Ave. in Cedarburg. The family will receive visitors at the funeral home on Monday from 3-6PM. Burial Pinelawn Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers memorials suggested to the American Heart Association.
