Suzanne C. Yuhas Suzanne Yuhas age 79 years of Port Washington formerly of Port Jefferson New York passed away on Wednesday October 25 2006 at Harbor Cove surrounded by her loving family. She was born December 21 1926 in East Lansdowne PA daughter of the late Harry Curry and Margaret Brown Curry. On February 16 1957 she married Harry Yuhas in Upper Darby PA. Mrs. Yuhas worked as a teacher in the Haverford Township PA school system and also as a wife and mother raising her family. She was an avid Bridge player and helped the Port Jefferson Recreation Dept. with setting up Bridge tournaments and clubs. Mrs. Yuhas also was a poll worker and a very devoted and loving grandmother. She is survived by her two sons Mike (Janet) Yuhas of Saukville and Edward (Jo) Yuhas of Wildwood Missouri. She is further survived by her seven grandchildren; Mallory Alex and Trevor Metoxen and Cassidy Yuhas of Saukville and Elise and Tim Yuhas of Wildwood MO nieces nephews other relatives and many friends. Suzanne was preceded in death by her parents husband Harry and two sisters; Margaret Moore and Frances Schmidt. A memorial gathering will be held on Monday November 6th from 5-7 Pm at the Eernisse Funeral Home 1600 W. Grand Ave. Port Washington followed by funeral services on Long Island with entombment in Calverton National Cemetery next to her husband.
