Susie Depies of Random Lake passed away Friday, March 14, 2025, at Sharon S. Richardson Community Hospice in Sheboygan Falls, surrounded by her family. She was 69 years old.

Susie was born in Port Washington on September 7, 1955, the daughter of Howard and Betty (nee Zimmermann) Reul. The family lived in Random Lake and Susie attended local schools, graduating from Random Lake High School, Class of 1973.

On August 13, 1977, Susie was united in marriage with Robert Depies at St. John's United Church of Christ in Random Lake. The couple were blessed with one son, Benjamin. Bob preceded Susie in death in 2019.

Over the years Susie worked jobs at many places including Amity Leather, Zmarket, Times Printing, and AJS. She was a lifelong member of St. John's UCC in Random Lake and had been a member of the American Legion Post 145 Ladies Auxiliary.

Always one to socialize, Susie loved a good game of cards and played in many sheepshead and cribbage tournaments. She enjoyed bowling, bingo, and playing bags, as well as camping, fishing, and traveling with her friends and family. She was a true Wisconsin sports fan. Cheering on the Packers and Brewers, with some of her closest friends was one of her favorite past times.

Susie is survived by her son Ben (Maia) Depies of Appleton, grandchildren Lucy and Oliver, sisters Linda Kirst and Mary Serna, and brother Mike Reul. She is further survived by brothers- and sisters-in-law : William (Bonnie) Depies, James Depies, Jerry (Brenda) Depies, Ginny Schueller, Doris (Tony) Fechter and Joe Krebsbach, goddaughter Tami (Steve) Staehler, nieces, nephews, other family and many friends. Susie is preceded in death by her husband Bob, parents Howard and Betty Reul, sister Shari Krebsbach and brother-in-law Miguel Serna.

Funeral Services will be held for Susie at 12 PM on Saturday, March 22, 2025, at St. John's United Church of Christ, W5463 First St., Random Lake. Rev. Dan Noennig will preside over the service. The family will receive visitors at the CHURCH on Saturday, March 22nd from 10 AM until services begin at 12 noon. Susie will be laid to rest beside her husband in Union Cemetery – Random Lake immediately following the service.
