Sue Barth passed away peacefully at Ellen's Home in Port Washington on Friday morning, August 26, 2022. She was 80 years young. Sue was a wonderful wife, amazing Mother and Grandmother with a beautiful smile. Sue was born in La Crosse, WI on August 24, 1942, daughter of Kenneth and Jean (nee Koester) Schultze. The family moved to Milwaukee where Sue met Jerome "Jerry" Barth, the love of her life, while attending Washington High School. On August 19, 1960, Sue was united in marriage with Jerry. The couple moved to Port Washington in 1964 and raised their family of three daughters. They were married for 49 loving years before Jerry's passing in 2009. Sue then moved to Dodgeville, MI 2017 – 2022. Sue was a homemaker, COPE Helpline Volunteer and friend to many. As a lifelong animal lover she started her days with a morning cup of coffee with her adorable dog Anabelle. She enjoyed reading, nature, her family and all things Angel gave her comfort. Those left to cherish her memory include her daughters Ava "Wendy" (Nicholas) Cozzi, Penny (Paul) Krier and Julie (Mark) Jalkanen. She is further survived by four grandchildren: Adam, Katie, Max and Mika, brother Peter (Kathy) Schultze, nieces, nephews, other family and friends. Sue is preceded in death by her husband Jerry, sister and best friend Sandra (the late Jim) Hanus and brother Kenneth Schultze. The Family would like to extend their gratitude to Ellen's Home Staff and the Horizon Hospice Nurses for all the care Sue received in the final months of her life. Grand Ave., Port Washington. The family will receive visitors at the Funeral Home Friday from 1:30PM until the service begins at 2:30PM.
