Suzanne A. Bardwell (nee Spitzer) passed away on Monday June 25, 2018 at the age of 83. She was a long time resident of Cedarburg, WI. Sue was born to Clarence and Hazel (nee Parrett) Spitzer in Palestine, MI on September 12, 1934. She attended Stephenson High School, class of 1952. She was united in marriage to Lee Bardwell on July 9, 1955 in Birch Creek, MI. She was a member of the Cedarburg American Legion Auxiliary Post #288. She is survived by her husband Lee, daughter Gay (Michael) Schonfelder, sons Scott (Linda) Bardwell and Reed Bardwell, grandchildren Joshua (Erica) Bardwell, Aaron (Loanda) Bardwell, Matthew (friend Cassie) Bardwell, Nathan Bardwell and Lindsey Bardwell, great-grandchildren William Bardwell and Jacklyn Bardwell, and a sister Stacey (Irv) Mikus. Preceded in death by her parents and other relatives and friends. Memorial Service 5:30 PM on Monday July 2, 2018 at the Eernisse Funeral Home, 1167 Washington Ave., Cedarburg, WI 53012. The family will receive relatives and friends on Monday at the funeral home from 4:00 PM until time the service. There will be a walk-through for the American Legion Women's Auxiliary Post 88 at 5:15 PM. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to a charity of your choice.
