IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Susan June
Skorik
February 7, 1943 – December 14, 2025
Susan June Skorik, of Milwaukee, was called to her heavenly home on Sunday, December 14, 2025, with her loving family at her side. She was born on February 7, 1943, the beloved daughter of Edward and Ruth (nee Nicholas) Roethe. She was wed to James Skorik in 1961, and together they raised 5 boys.
Susan was a wonderful mother and grandmother, being with her family was one of her greatest joys in life. Outside of family, she was known for her love of horses, volunteering her time to her church, and her churches bargain center. Susan was a devoted member of Saint James Lutheran Church in Milwaukee for 50 years, and later attended Open Door Bible Church in Port Washington.
Susan was preceded in death by her parents, Edward and Ruth Roethe, and her husband of 48 years, James Skorik.
She is survived by her brother, Tom (Diane) Roethe; her 5 sons, Michael (Lisa), Jeffrey, and her triplet boys, James (Shelly), John (Connie), and Christopher. She is further survived by numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and lifelong friends.
A Christian Funeral Service for Susan will be held on Friday, December 19, at Open Door Bible Church in Port Washington, at 1 p.m. Her family will receive guests from 11 a.m. to the time of service.
Susan will be laid to rest with her husband at Wisconsin Memorial Park.
A very special thank you to Susans' son, James, his wife Shelly, their daughter Sarah, and all the nurses and caregivers at Sharon Richardson Hospice, Home Instead and Pinehaven Christian Communities, for taking care of her in her final years.
