SUSAN C. SCHOWALTER nbsp; Ms. Sue Schowalter of Main Street in Saukville passed away at The Kathy Hospice in West Bend early Monday morning October 6th 2008 after a long and valiant battle with cancer.nbsp; She was 54 years old.nbsp; Sue was born in Port Washington daughter of James and Shirley Mehring Schowalter.nbsp; She grew up in Saukville and graduated with honors from Port Washington High School as a member of the Class of 1971.nbsp; Ms. Schowalter worked as a bookkeeper at Flaherty Automotive in Port Washington and was later employed at Rockwell Industries in Mequon before becoming disabled.nbsp; A longtime attendee of Friedens Evangelical Church in Port Washington Sue was a free spirit who was never afraid to speak her mind.nbsp; She often incorporated her unique sense of humor in the cards she made for others.nbsp; Sue loved her family very much and enjoyed watching her granddaughter Hanna grow up.nbsp; She also liked baking and sharing her treats with others. Frequently friends would find goodies left on their doorstep and would know Sue had been there.nbsp; She is survived by her daughter Nichole Schowalter her dear granddaughter Johanna Schowalter and her brother and sister-in-law Scott and Julie Schowalter all of Grafton.nbsp; She is further survived by nieces Shannon and Amber Mae Schowalter and nephew Brent Schowalter all also of Grafton other relatives and friends.nbsp; She is preceded in death by her parents James and Shirley step-mother June (nee Nagrocki) Schowalter and brother Stuart Schowalter.nbsp; A Memorial Service will be held at 11AM on Saturday October 11th at Friedens Evangelical Church nbsp;nbsp;454 N. Milwaukee St. Port Washington.nbsp; Rev.
