Beloved mother, Susan A. Rothman, formerly of Kiel, passed away on Saturday morning, February 15, 2025, at the age of 86. She was born on September 22, 1938, in Faribault, MN to Ralph and Annabelle Hagelund. Susan was a proud graduate of Port Washington High School. She married Robert "Bob" Rothman on August 20, 1960, at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Port Washington and together raised three children.

Susan enjoyed antiquing and was an avid collector of teapots and Norman Rockwell art. Her collection grew and was featured in a museum in Mishicot, WI. In her downtime she enjoyed crossword puzzles, reading and knitting mittens, hats, scarves and dishcloths. Susan often donated those items to local charities.

She enjoyed attending family holiday dinners and always insisted on doing the dishes. Susan cherished the time spent playing, scrabble and dominos with family and friends. Above all she treasured the time spent with her family.

Those left to cherish Susan's memory include her children, Rene (Joel) Bruggink, Robin (Larry) Lange, and Randy (Angela) Rothman; grandchildren, Nicole (Joshua) Mondloch, Andrew (Crystal) Bruggink, Shawn Lange and Emily Rothman, Ryan Rothman and Elle Rothman; great-grandchildren, Owen Mondloch, Kiara Aguero, & Wyatt Bruggink. She is further survived by other relatives and friends.

Susan was preceded in death by her brother Dennis Hagelund and ex-husband Robert Rothman.

A Memorial Service will be held at 6:00pm on Tuesday, February 25, 2025, at Eernisse Funeral Home, 171 N. Royal Ave., Belgium, WI 53004. The family will greet relatives and friends at the funeral home from 4:00-6:00pm. Susan will be laid to rest in a private inurnment St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery in Port Washington.

In lieu of flowers memorials are encouraged to the American Alzheimer's Association.
