Surrounded by his loving family, Cedarburg resident Steve Stecker was Born to Eternal Life on Wednesday January 22, 2020, at the age of 70. Steve was born in Oshkosh, WI, on September 8, 1949, the son of Kenneth and Betty (Nee Butt) Stecker. He was united in marriage to Jill Gleisberg on July 20, 1974, at St. Cecilia's Catholic Church in Thiensville, WI. Survived by his wife Jill; sons John (Chelsea) and Nick (Jenny) Stecker; grandchildren Isabella, Jack and Miles; along with other relatives and many friends. Mass of Christian Burial 2:00 PM Sat. Feb. 1, 2020, at St. Francis Borgia Catholic Church-South, N44 W6055 Hamilton Rd in Cedarburg. Visitation Fri. Jan. 31, 2020, AT THE CHURCH from 4-7:00 PM and on Sat. AT THE CHURCH from 1:00 PM until time of Mass. Steve enjoyed working side by side with his sons at their accounting firm, Stecker & Associates in Cedarburg. Steve was an active member of the Cedarburg Lions Club, an avid golfer, and loved spending time with family and friends at his lake home in Shawano, WI. Steve was a man of faith and patriotism, who prayed the Rosary daily and was a United States Air Force Veteran.
