Mr. Steven M. Strande age 57 of Jackson passed away Thursday August 16 2012. Steven was born March 8 1955 in Milwaukee the son of Neale and Shiela Roden Strande. Steven graduated from high school in West Bend. As a heavy equipment operator Steven had the opportunity to work in various fields including environmental well drilling construction and railroad. On February 21 1986 he was united in marriage with Gayle Hansen in Eau Claire. Steven enjoyed hunting boating target shooting watching the Packers and riding his Horse his Thunder Mountain Gunnison motorcycle. Steven is survived by his wife Gayle of Jackson three brothers Mark Strande of Fond du Lac Jeffrey (Chris) Strande of Wausau and Eric Strande of Montello. He is further survived by his mother-in-law Marilyn Stayer of Cedarburg five brothers-in-law: Guy (Jennifer) Hansen Mark (Julie) Hansen and Terry (Kathy) Hansen all of Cedarburg Jeff (Kathy) Hansen of Plymouth and Todd (Diane) Hansen of Port Washington his wife's step siblings Ray Stayer Jr. of Portola CA and Faith Stayer of Martinez GA nieces nephews other relatives and many many friends. He was preceded in death by his parents his brother Todd Strande and his father-in-law Raymond Stayer. A Celebration of Steven's life will be held at a later date.
