Steven J. Korthals of Franklin formerly of Grafton, passed away on February 7, 2025, at Lawlis Family Hospice. He was 75 years old.

Steven was born on November 1, 1949, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin to the late Harvey and Betty (Janssen) Korthals. Steve attended Grafton Public Schools through the spring of 1966. He graduated from Crawford High School in San Diego, California with the class of 1968. After High School Steven proudly served his county in the United States Army, and fought in the Vietnam War.

He is survived by his son Micah Korthals, his brother James "Louie" (Susan) Korthals, his nephew Shawn (Beth) Metzler along with other family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his brother David.

As per Stevens wishes no services will be held. He will be laid to rest at Wisconsin Memorial Park.

The family would like to thank the staff at Lawlis Hospice for the exceptional care and compassion they showed to Steven and his family during this time.
