Steven Meyer of Port Washington passed away suddenly on Friday June 10 2011. He was 57 years old. Steve was born in Sheboygan on July 15 1953 son of Fred Meyer and Marcella Bruggink Meyer. Steve attended school in the Port Washington area graduating from Port High School in 1971. Steve was united in marriage to Bonnie Kirby on January 22 1983. He started working for Simplicity Manufacturing in his early 20's and was there for over 35 years until Simplicity relocated. He then worked with his wife Bonnie at her web design business before getting a position at Thomas Jefferson Middle School. Steve was a member of International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers Local #1430 and the American Society of Power Engineers. He loved music especially playing his guitar and going to concerts. He also enjoyed playing golf the Green Bay Packers model building and working in his yard. Steve is survived by his wife and best friend Bonnie of Port Washington his mother Marcella (the late Fred) Meyer of Waterloo IL his sister Christine (Pat) Anzia of Waterloo IL his father-in-law Elmer (the late Patricia) Terlinden of Port Washington and his sister-in-law Kathleen (Richard) Bulgrin of Grafton. He is further survived by other relatives and many friends and especially his buddy P.C. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday June 14th at 7 PM at the Eernisse Funeral Home 1600 W. Grand Ave. in Port Washington with Pastor John Klieve officiating. Visitation will be held on Tuesday June 14th at the Funeral Home from 4-7 PM.
