Stephen P. Miller Steve Miller age 23 years passed away unexpectedly Monday evening September 10 2012 in an automobile accident in the town of Saukville. Steve was born August 14 1989 in Milwaukee the son of Wendy Miller and Jason VanVooren. He grew up in Eagle River where he graduated from Northland Pines High School in 2007. During high school Steve was very active in sports playing on the football basketball and baseball teams. When he wasn't competing in sports he was working at Kartway in Eagle River. He had been a proud member of the Boy Scouts and the Order of the Arrow. Following graduation he moved to Ozaukee County. Steve currently was a Sales Associate at Dick's Sporting Goods in Grafton and had previously worked at Columbia St. Mary's - Ozaukee Campus as well as Best Buy and PetSmart both in Grafton. Steve was a member of Christ Lutheran Church in Eagle River and attended Our Savior Ev. Lutheran Church in Grafton. He was a sports fanatic who loved going to sporting events playing golf and disc golf hunting and fishing and spending time with family and friends. Steve is survived by his parents Wendy (Terry) Hart of Fredonia and Jason VanVooren of Milwaukee and his grandparents: Julia Miller of Port Washington Bernard (Brenda) Miller of Medford Carol Hart of Advance NC Denny VanVooren of Wauwatosa. He is further survived by his great-grandfather Clifford Ohm of Brookfield siblings: Charlie (Christa) Steve Cody Amber Skylar Jordan Hart auntie Dawn (Erv) Schlenvogt uncle Cliff Miller other relatives and many many friends. Funeral Services will be held at 7PM on Friday September 14 at Our Savior Ev. Lutheran Church 1332 Arrowhead Rd. in Grafton with Pastor Mark Wagner officiating. The family will receive visitors at the church on Friday from 4-7PM. In Steve's memory the family asks that you please wear your favorite sports apparel (except for anything Bears!).
