Mr. Stan Lulkowski, of Franzen Street in Random Lake passed away at Lawlis Family Hospice Center in Mequon late Saturday evening, November 21, 2015. He was 49 years old.
Stanley was born in Green Bay on January 23, 1966, son of Stanley J. and Jean Frank Lulkowski Jr. He attended local schools and graduated from Green Bay West High School with the Class of 1984. Stan proudly served in the US Marine Corps before finishing his degree at UW Whitewater. On September 26, 1987 he was united in marriage with Teresa Blom at Trinity Lutheran Church in Green Bay. The couple lived in Yuma, AZ and Lexington Park, MD while Stan was in the Corps, and then moved back to Green Bay. They settled in Random Lake in 2002 and raised their family.
Stan worked as a supervisor at Kemps Dairy in Cedarburg before taking a position as supervisor at Patrick Cudahy in Cudahy. He left in 2007 for medical reasons.
Mr. Lulkowski was a former member of American Legion Post #227 in Hillsboro, and was a current member of Our Lady of the Lakes Parish, St. Mary's Chapel. He was elected to the Random Lake Village Board in 2014, and was excited to work within his community. Stan enjoyed attending his children's sporting events and was looking forward to the arrival of his granddaughter in early December.
Survivors include his wife Teresa of Random Lake, their daughter Brigid (Toby) Vick of Buzzards Bay MA, their son Stanley Lulkowski IV, still at home, and 3 sisters: Sharon Landewhr of Brussels, LuAnn Landewhr of Kalespell, MT and Celeste Danek of Sturgeon Bay. He is further survived by parents-in-law Jerry & Gloria Blom of Green Bay, sister-in-law Lisa (Paul) Lemmens, nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. He is preceded in death by his parents Stanley & Jean Lulkowski, Jr. and sister Kathy Jo Landewhr.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 3PM on Saturday, November 28, at Our Lady of the Lakes - St. Mary Chapel, 230 Butler St, Random Lake. Father Guy Gurath will preside. Stan will be laid to rest in St. Mary's Cemetery with Military Honors after the Mass. The family will receive visitors at the CHURCH on Saturday from 12-3PM. Memorials are suggested in lieu of flowers.
