Dan was born on June 9, 1985 in Marquette, MI, son of Daniel McCoy Sr and Christine (Filetti) McCoy. After his initial training, Dan trained as a Special Forces Medical Sergeant, a rewarding career helping people. In 2013, Danny earned his Green Beret and Special Forces tab. Dan LOVED being a Green Beret on Special Forces Operational Detachment - Alpha 5136.
