Shirley Genett Davis, 87, of Grafton, Wisconsin, passed away on October 11, 2022. Shirley was born on May 11, 1935, in Willard, Wisconsin to Joseph and Gertrude (nee Bayuk) Godec. She graduated from Marshfield High School, Marshfield, Wisconsin in 1953. Shirley was united in marriage with Thomas Davis on June 10, 1976.
This union brought together eight children; Richard (Roseanne) Genett, Renee (Timothy) Wild, Robin (Thomas) Fazio, Patricia Davis Szymczak, Thomas (Barbara) Davis II, James (Vicki) Davis, Lisa Davis, and Paul (Arianne) Davis.
Her greatest joy in life were her children, 15 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
Shirley was known for her homemade cookies and was always baking a batch for those she loved. Visitors were sure to go home with their favorite variety and/or a dozen of her famous peanut butter cookies.
She will be dearly missed by her husband Tom, children, three siblings: Edward (Diane) Godec, Elaine Lobner, John Godec, dear friends Ron and Mavis Jankowski, and her beloved dog Sophie. She will also be missed by many nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, November 16, 2022, at St. Joseph's Catholic Church (1619 Washington Street Grafton, WI 53024.) Father Nick Baumgardner will be officiating. The family will receive visitors from 1:00 p.m. until the time of the service at 2:00 p.m.

The family thanks the staff of Ellen's Home of Port Washington for their wonderful care.
