Shirley, L. Dalske of Port Washington, found peace on the morning of Saturday, December 8, 2018 at the age of 86. She was born in Milwaukee to Adlor and Hildegard (nee Klein) Gagne on August 19, 1932.
Shirley was a graduate of Port Washington High School, Class of 1950. She retired as a secretary from Modern Equipment in 1998. Shirley relished spending time with her family, and especially loved yearly trips with the grandkids to Wisconsin Dells. She enjoyed baking, gardening, playing scrabble with her daughter and card games with friends and family. Shirley enjoyed socializing with groups of friends at local restaurants for lunch and dinner. Above all she was a kind soul, always giving of herself and lending a hand to someone in need. She will be forever missed by those who knew her.
Shirley is survived by her daughter Brenda Brock of Port Washington; grandchildren, Kyle Brock, Chelsea (Keith) Lubner; great-grandson, Carson Lubner. She is further survived by nieces, nephews' other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her granddaughter Brittany Brock; siblings, Florence (Chuck) Biel, Bud (Valeria) Gagne, Irene (Dutch) Nuedling, Patricia (Harry) Franks, and Donnie Gagne.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 6:00PM on Friday, December 14, 2018 at St. John XXIII Catholic Parish, St. Peter of Alcantara Church (1800 N Wisconsin St. Port Washington, WI 53074) with Father Pat Wendt presiding. Visitation will be at the church from 4:00PM until the time of service. Shirley will be entombed at St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery in Port Washington.
