Shirley Ann Cira passed away on Sunday, December 12, 2021. She was 88 years old. Shirley was born on March 4, 1933, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin to parents Frederick and Blanche (Renning) Petzold. Shirley enjoyed birds, crocheting, and watching NCIS. She had a heart of gold and was generous to those around her. She made sure that her family had the things they needed, even surprising them with gifts for their birthdays that they saw while "window" shopping. She ran her home with love and will be remembered for the amazing women she was. She will be missed. Shirley is survived by her children Mike (Lenore) Cira, Christine Cira, John Cira, Diane Henning, Tim (Kierstin) Cira and Dan (Sue) Cira, grandchildren Theresa, Nate, Mat, Zach (Jennifer) Cira, John Ryan (Laura) McCormick, Kevin (Shelby) McCormick, Emily Hutchinson, Haley Henning, Wyatt Henning, Jonas, Roman, Katja, Kali, and Ty Cira, great grandchildren Arie Rose and Riley, sister Bunny Nowicki, and brother Robert (Laverne) Petzold. She is further survived by other family and friends. Shirley is preceded in death by her parents, husband Norman, son Steven, and sister Patty Fisher. A memorial Service will be held on Sunday, December 26, 2021, at Eernisse Funeral Home, 1600 West Grand Avenue, Port Washington, WI 53074 at 4:00 PM. Visitation will be from 2:00 PM until the time of the service. In lieu of flowers, memorials to your favorite charity or Shirley's favorite charity, St. Jude, are appreciated.
