SHERMAN G. SCHLENVOGT Sherman Schlenvogt age 69 years of 3267 Sherman Way Slinger formerly of Port Washington died Monday morning January 24 2005 at St. Luke's Medical Center in Milwaukee where he had been a patient for the past two weeks. He was born November 14 1935 in Sheboygan son of the late Henry and Leona Groth Schlenvogt. He was a 1953 graduate of Port Washington High School and served in the US Army from Feb. 1954 thru January 1956. He worked as a truck driver for Stokdyk Truck Lines and TMS Carriers until retiring. Mr. Schlenvogt was an avid hunter and loved the outdoors. He also enjoyed gardening bird watching cooking and spending time with his grandchildren. He is survived by his partner for life June Anderson his four children Scott Schlenvogt of Slinger Lisa (Randy) Large of Saukville Laura (David) Mueller of Belgium and Darren (Tammy) Schlenvogt of Kewaskum six grandchildren Jessica Janel Lisa Adam Candice and Brandon three great grandchildren Cameron Isabel and Zoe three sisters Patsi (Nick) Schmit of Waubeka Rosie Graham and Jayne VanDyke of Port Washington one brother Mark (Carol) Schlenvogt of Fredonia aunts unclesmany nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother David. Funeral services will be held on Thursday evening January 27 7:30 PM at Portview Christian Center 3457 Hwy. LL Port Washington with Pastor Troy Renter officiating. Burial will be in Union Cemetery Port Washington. Visitation at the CHURCH Thursday from 5 - 7:30 PM.
