SHERMAN S. HOLLISTER Mr. Sherman Hollister of Claremont Road in Saukville passed away Wednesday evening October 3 2012 at Horizon Hospice in Mequon. He was 64 years old. Sherman was born in Sheboygan on January 18 1948 son of Steven and Leona Hulee Hollister. He grew up in Cascade and attended Plymouth High School graduating with the Class of 1966. On November 10 1979 Sherman was united in marriage with Linda Kertscher at Trinity Lutheran church in West Bend. The couple settled in Saukville and raised their family. Mr. Hollister had worked at Bolens and Trak International before taking a position with Charter Steel. He retired in 2011. Sherman enjoyed driving to Port Washington to check out the daily happenings at the marina and to view the lake. He loved fishing especially with his dog Lady and spending time at the family cottage at Pine Lake. He is survived by his wife Linda their daughter Amanda (Chris) Knehans of Fredonia granddaughter Jillian and family dog Guiness. He is further survived by 2 brothers: Nolan (Shirley) Hollister of Fairplay MO and Spencer Hollister of Cascade mother-in-law Ruby Kertscher of Campbellsport and 3 sisters-in-law: LaVern Kertscher Lois (Perry) Ebersold and LuAnn (Mark) Larson all of Campbellsport other relatives and friends. Funeral Services will be held at 7PM on Monday October 8th at the Eernisse Funeral Home 1600 W. Grand Ave. Port Washington. Pastor David Schoob will officiate. He will be laid to rest the following day at Washington County Memorial Park West Bend. The family will receive visitors at the Funeral Home on Monday from 4-7PM.
