Obituary

Shawn Anthony Conrad, a beloved son, brother and friend, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Saturday, November 23, 2024, at Advocate Aurora Medical Center in Grafton, Wisconsin, after a courageous battle with metastatic melanoma cancer. He was 40 years old.

Shawn was born on August 28, 1984, at St. Alphonsus Hospital in Port Washington, Wisconsin, and raised in Saukville. He graduated from Port Washington High School and remained a resident of Port. His childhood was filled with cherished memories, including annual summer road trips across the United States and weekends at his grandparents' retirement home in Shawano.

For the past 20 years, Shawn dedicated himself to his family's business, Cream City Process, LLC, where he excelled as a Legal Civil Process Server. He found joy in working alongside his dad and sister, traveling the state together.

Shawn had many passions and interests and would dive into each until he was darn near an expert. Everything from photography to firearms, amateur race car driving and drifting to perfecting the best cup of coffee to grilling and lifting weights.

He loved music and collecting record albums from all over the world and every genre. Shawn had the best sense of humor and talent to make people laugh. He enjoyed the follies and victories of politics. Shawn had a deep love for animals as well, especially wildlife and dogs.

Those left to cherish his memory are his parents, Randy and Toni Conrad; his sister, Sara Conrad; his "niece" Honey the Wire Fox Terrier; his extended family, including Jodi and Mike Dickmann, Teri and Dave Lorge; cousins Dan Lorge and Jessie Lorge; and many other family, friends and colleagues.

Meeting Shawn in Heaven are his grandparents, Ken and Shirley Conrad and Tony and Sandy Baumann along with his uncle, Ron "Ace" Nault and his beloved dogs Kenzie and Zoey.

HIs family extends their heartfelt gratitude to the staff at Advocate Aurora Medical Center in Grafton, especially the nurses, Dr. Maul, and the Cancer Center staff, for their compassionate care and support during this difficult time.
