Sharon L. Wolterstorff Sharon Wolterstorff of Saukville formerly of Townsend and Menomonee Falls passed away surrounded by her loving family in the early morning hours of Friday August 26 2011 at the Lutheran Home in Wauwatosa under the care of VITAS Hospice. She was 72 years old. Sharon was born in Milwaukee on June 7 1939 daughter of Edgar Bud Hatch and Eleanor Heinritz Pfersch. On February 14 1959 she married Robert Wolterstorff at Abiding Savior Church in Brown Deer. He preceded her in death in 2002. Sharon worked as a sales manager for over 20 years at the Sears store at Northridge Mall. She is a member of Holy Cross Lutheran Church in Menomonee Falls and also the Sears Retirement Group. Sharon enjoyed volunteering her time for causes and associations close to her heart including Children's Hospital the Milwaukee Repertory Theater the Marcus Center for the Performing Arts and Relay for Life. She was an avid sports fan who loved to watch any and all sporting events. She also enjoyed traveling reading and spending time with her family. She is survived by her children Kristi (Raymond) deBruijn of Saukville Jason Wolterstorff of San Francisco CA and Shelly Peterson of Wauwatosa. She is further survived by two grandchildren Tyler and Sara her special nephew Ross Plaumann of Milwaukee siblings Paul Pfersch of Caledonia Ellie Bauerle of Waynesboro PA Scott (Lisa) Hatch of Golden CO Kurt (Jami) Hatch of Austin TX Todd (Natalie) Hatch of Whitefish Bay Darris Hatch of Beverly Hills CA and Heidi Hatch of Mequon brother-in-law Larry (Brooke) Wolterstorff of Prescott AZ nieces nephews other relatives and many friends. Memorial services will be held on Thursday September 1st at 11 AM at Holy Cross Lutheran Church W153 N8131 Pilgrim Road in Menomonee Falls. Visitation will be held Thursday September 1st at the CHURCH from 10-11 AM. In lieu of flowers memorials suggested to American Cancer Society.
