Sharon Kannenberg passed away peacefully at Lincoln Village on Monday, October 9, 2023, after stroke complications.

She was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin on September 23, 1941, to parents Clarence and Mildred (nee Fischer) Wollner. Sharon graduated from Grafton High School and married her high school sweetheart Dennis Kannenberg on September 15, 1962. Together they resided in Port Washington and raised two children.

Sharon enjoyed feeding the birds and greeting the neighborhood dogs. She also loved tending to the flowers around the house. Both Dennis and Sharon enjoyed spending time with their many friends at the old Newport Shores in Port Washington.

Sharon is survived by her sons Randall (Sandy) and Bryan Kannenberg (Nici), 4 grandchildren Craig, Melinda, Kaity, and Greggory, and 2 great-grandchildren Brooklyn Rae and Kobe. She is further survived by sister-in-law Cheryl Natzke (Erich) and brother-in-law Wayne Kannenberg (Debbie). She was preceded in death by her husband Dennis.

Sharon will be laid to rest next to her husband at Zur Ruhe Cemetery.
