Sharon A. Gahan Sharon Gahan of the Town Wayne formerly of Port Washington passed away unexpectedly on June 21 2012 at her residence. She was 52 years old. Sharon was born at Fort Leonard Wood MO on July 10 1959 daughter of Thomas Gahan Sr. and Sachiko Nishi Gahan. In the early 1960's the family moved to Port Washington. Sharon attended school in Port Washington graduating from Port Washington High School in 1977. Sharon spent most of her life dedicated to caring for both people and animals. She worked for many years as a Certified Nursing Assistant the last 16 years at Lasata Care Center. Sharon loved the outdoors: fishing hunting and hiking were just a few of the activities she enjoyed. She cherished her nieces and nephews and their children especially around the holidays. Sharon is survived by her four siblings: Michael Gahan of Port Washington Thomas (Rachel) Gahan Jr. of Dundee Patrick (Deborah) Gahan of Elcho and Bridget (Bryan) Krueger of Little Kohler. She is further survived by many nieces nephews great-nieces and nephews her cherished pets Zena and Tiger Lilly other relatives and many friends. She is preceded in death by her parents and her sister Colleen. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday June 26th at 7 PM at Portview Christian Center Assembly of God Church 3457 Hwy LL in Port Washington. Visitation will be held on Tuesday June 26th from 3-6:30 PM at the Eernisse Funeral Home 1600 W. Grand Ave. in Port Washington. She will be laid to rest in St. Mary's Cemetery in Port Washington.
