Sean Ison Mr. Sean D. Ison passed away unexpectedly at his Saukville home on April 13 2013. He was 45 years old. Sean was born March 11 1968 the son of William Ison and Maurene Britton. From young on Sean was passionate about writing especially as a rock and punk music critic. At the age of 15 he wrote an article that was published in the rock music magazine of the time CREEM magazine. After graduating from Port Washington High School in 1986 he studied English at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee and later earned a certificate from Northwestern in pedorthy. Sean was a caring and kind person who enjoyed helping people as a pedorthist and also as a caregiver in a halfway house. Sean was a spiritual person and practiced Kabbalah. He loved The Rolling Stones and was especially fascinated by Keith Richards. Sean is survived by his father William (Jan Linville) Ison of Roswell GA sister Meaghan (Bret) Hoffman of Port Washington 2 aunts: Kristen Ison of Racine and Jill Ison of Pearce AZ grandmother Jane Brejcha of Pearce AZ and grandfather William Ison of Tarzana CA best friend Lisa Croatt of Port Washington other relatives and friends and his beloved cats Bear and Cheshire. He is preceded in death by his mother Maurene. A Celebration of Sean's life will be held at 1PM on Saturday May 4 at Eernisse Funeral Home 1600 W. Grand Ave. in Port Washington. Rev. Linda Westphal-Buth will officiate. The family will receive visitors at the funeral home on Saturday from 12 noon-1PM. The Eernisse Funeral Home is honored to serve the family.
