Mrs. Sandi Finney, loving wife of Kevin Finney and cherished mother of Tina Ermis (Sioux Falls, SD) and Keith (Joe) Ermis (Saukville, WI) passed away in Belgium, Wisconsin on Thursday afternoon, September 10, 2020 at Sharon S. Richardson Community Hospice in Sheboygan Falls. She was 71 years old. Sandra was born in Milwaukee on June 9, 1949, daughter of Edward and Mathilda Kostrava Ermis. Sandi attended local schools and graduated from South Division High School, Class of 1967. She worked as a seamstress in Wauwatosa, Wisconsin for many years making wedding gowns and later took a job at IGL Tent and Awning in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. At IGL, she had met the love of her life, Kevin in 1988. He was the Yin to her Yang. The fit couldn't be more perfect. Sandi loved to sew and she could create anything. A master. Hopping in the car to travel with no specific destination planned, brought her so much joy, though Northern Wisconsin was her go to area. She loved to go anywhere with Kevin. Tent camping in Presque Isle ranked high among her favorite things to do. She enjoyed playing cribbage, cards and watching QVC. She was a passionate cook. Famous for her Spaghetti and Tacos, amongst many other dishes. No one ever left hungry, when you visited her. A huge football fan, Sandi's favorite football player will always and forever be Brett Favre. In 1998, Sandi moved to Belgium, Wisconsin, where she built a home with Kevin Finney. The couple united in marriage in 2010 at a ceremony in Eagle River. She not only gained a husband who cherished her, but the children gained a father that they cherish. The love they shared was so strong, special and precious. It will live on forever. She was a dog grandma to fur-babies, Ozzy and Jett, who loved her, immensely. Throughout the years, spending quality time with her family was so important to her. She loved hard, fought hard and played hard. She was a Rockstar. Sandi was preceded in death by her parents, Edward and Mathilda (Kostrava) Ermis, brother, Emery Ermis and sister, Elsie (Gardner) Ermis. She is survived by her husband, Kevin Finney (Belgium, Wisconsin), daughter, Tina Ermis (Sioux Falls, South Dakota), son, Keith Joe Ermis (Saukville, Wisconsin), brother, Lester Ermis (Hales Corners, Wisconsin), brother, Richard (Joanne) Ermis (Muskego, Wisconsin), along with many cousins, nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews. At Sandi's request, cremation has taken place and a Celebration of Life is planned for next year, 2021 for friends and family.
