IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Ryan L. "Rhino"
Osheim
January 5, 1972 – September 16, 2024
Ryan L. 'Rhino' Osheim of Brown Deer, formerly of Cedarburg, passed away unexpectedly Monday morning, September 16, 2024, at the age of 52 years.
Ryan was born in Milwaukee on January 5, 1972, son of Gary and Cheryl (nee Pipkorn) Osheim. Ryan grew up in Cedarburg and was baptized and confirmed and attended First Immanuel Lutheran Church and School. Ryan graduated from Cedarburg High School in 1990. After high school, he joined the Local 18 Sheet Metal Workers Association and attained an apprenticeship through the union. He attended trade school at MATC, completed his apprenticeship, attained his journeyman's card, and later became a foreman.
Ryan spent much of his career at F.J.A. Christiansen Roofing Company. Ryan enjoyed his work and was a proud "tinner". He was a valued employee and was a mentor to many apprentices in his industry. He was well liked by his co-workers. When he wasn't working, Ryan loved to go camping and fishing. He had a passion for music and enjoyed going to music festivals and concerts. He played guitar and harmonica, and loved nothing better than playing music with and for his friends around the campfire.
Ryan is survived by his parents Gary & Cheryl Osheim of Grafton, sister Sarah (James) Kossow, also of Grafton, his loving partner of 18 years, Shirly Gunawan, and their cats Adam & Miley. He is further survived by his uncle Ernie Osheim of Ripon, cousins, other family, and many friends. He was preceded in death by his grandparents Leander and Phyllis Osheim, and Robert and Betty Pipkorn, his uncles Ray Osheim and Alan Pipkorn, and his aunt Corrine Osheim.
A Celebration of Life will be held for Ryan on November 3, 2024, at Buechler Farms (https://buechlerfarms.com/) in Belgium, WI from 12:30 PM to 4:30 PM. We hope to see all friends and family there for the gathering.
